Anything Nice to Say: Judge Dredd

We’re back for season two. Did you miss us?

Today, we take on the worst thing to happen to adaptations since Hollywood (that can’t possibly be true) with 1995’s Judge Dredd. Can we find anything nice to say about this Sylvester Stallone masterpiece? Yes. And, it was giant robots the whole time.

An Update from the Abyss

If you’ve been watching Anything Nice to Say, you may have noticed a rotating set. No, I do not have a house with many rooms. I have moved out of Los Angeles to the Great White North. I started a new job as an assistant brewer in a brewery located in a small town in western Michigan.

In the meantime, here’s some delicious content to keep you in the loop.

Anything Nice to Say: AXL

A boy, a robot, a dirt bike nemesis with a flame thrower. Axl takes the boy and his dog trope and updates it for the DARPA era. Check out our episode on the Kickstarter project that became a feature film.

Anything Nice to Say: Cats

We did it. We found the most controversial movie from 2019. The harbinger of Covid-19. That’s right. It’s time to talk about #cats. Not even the popularity of #TaylorSwift could save it. We find anything nice to say about Cats.
